Jacksonville plastic surgeon, Dr. Palin has joined the Aesthetic Center of Jacksonville from a busy cosmetic and reconstructive practice in Maryland. He was the head of the Cleft Palate team for Western Maryland Healthcare System and Chief of Plastic Surgery Services. He was the Chief of Surgery for Western Maryland Health Care System and headed multiple committees within the hospital system. Dr. Palin graduated from Duke University with honors in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Palin attended the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine and completed a full General Surgery Residency under Dr. Hiram Polk at the University of Louisville, one of the top rated General Surgery programs in the country. During this time; he published and presented papers at national meetings on wound healing and the effects of chemotherapy.

Dr. Palin then completed Plastic Surgery training with Dr James Bennett at Indiana University Department of Plastic Surgery where he published and presented papers on breast asymmetry, anthropomorphics and burn care in the major Plastic Surgery Journals and meetings. Dr. Palin is a Board Certified Jacksonville plastic surgeon, certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons who admit only those physicians already certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with significant demonstrated experience in aesthetic (cosmetic) surgical procedures.

Dr Palin has more than 25 years of cosmetic surgery experience including facial rejuvenation, breast and body contouring, as well as breast reconstruction and all forms of liposuction, VASER Liposelection and Liposculpture.
